A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Interstate Drive and N Main Street on September 2 resulted in possible injuries and disabling damage to both automobiles, according to a Crossville Police Department crash report.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:33 AM on a clear, dry Wednesday. The crash involved a 2021 Honda CR-V driven by 77-year-old Patricia Ann Conway of Crossville, and a 2005 Toyota minivan operated by 22-year-old Tierra Gayle Frazier, also of Crossville, who had a passenger, Melody Price, onboard.

According to investigating officer Patrolman Colton Johns, Frazier was transported by ground EMS to Cumberland Medical Center with possible injuries, along with passenger Price. Conway reported no injuries and was not transported.

Investigating officers noted that due to conflicting accounts from the drivers and a lack of independent witnesses, no at-fault determination could be made at the scene. Conway stated she was traveling straight through the four-way intersection from Northside Drive onto Interstate Drive with a green light when the second vehicle turned left in front of her. Conversely, Frazier stated she had a left-turn signal while turning from Interstate Drive onto N Main Street when the first vehicle drove forward and struck her vehicle’s right side.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene by Express Towing. Neither alcohol nor drug use was suspected by responding officers.
