Kentucky State Police are investigating after a two-year-old girl was found dead in Whitley County. Police responded to a home on Leona Wyatt Road yesterday for a report of a missing child. Multiple law enforcement agencies searched the property and found the toddler unresponsive. The child, Aubrey Rose, of Corbin was taken to Baptist Health Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The body will be sent to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine an exact cause of death.
