Ty William Smith was born on Wednesday, January 18, 1995, in Crossville, Tennessee, to Charles Smith and Cristina Frensley. He passed away at home in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 30 on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Ty loved many things in life including but not limited to: theater, comic books, Legos, art, collecting, travel, helping others, and above all else movies. He will always be remembered for his joyous laughter, selfless heart, and endless movie facts.

Ty is survived by his wife, Cassandra Gragg of Monterey, Tennessee; his beloved pets, Boo and Krypto; as well as his parents; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Judy Smith; his maternal grandfather; his siblings, Alexis, Erica, Clayton, and Cheyenne; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; his in-law family; and friends who all loved him deeply.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Cane Creek Park Courtside Pavillion, 201 C C Camp Road, Cookeville, Tennessee, 38501, from 3:30 PM until 5:30 PM.
