UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS DOWN IN EVERY COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
Unemployment rates in nearly every Tennessee county, including distressed counties, declined during September, according to data released yesterday by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. In the listening area, the highest rate is in Rhea County at 5 percent followed by Bledsoe at 4.6, Fentress at 4.1, Cumberland County is at 3.9 percent, Roane County is 3.7, Morgan County is 3.6, White County is 3.5 and Loudon has the lowest unemployment rate at 3.1 percent.
