UNIPOWER IN DUNLAP TO CLOSE LEAVING AROUND 30 EMPLOYEES LOOKING FOR WORK
Unipower has told Tennessee officials that it plans to permanently shut its doors in Dunlap, leaving around 30 employees looking for a job.
The company makes high-efficiency power electronics, energy conversion systems, and power supplies.
A notice filed with the state’s Department of Labor and Workforce Development says the Dunlap facility will permanently close on June 30, 2024.
A Southeast Rapid Response team from the Southeast Tennessee Development District has been notified to help Unipower and affected employees.
