Funeral Services for Vernie Pickler, age 77, of Rockwood, Tennessee, will be conducted on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Floyd will officiate with interment to follow in the Muddy Pond Cemetery. Ms. Pickler was born on Tuesday, December 23, 1947, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the late Elbert N. and Artitle Phillips Sisco. Ms. Pickler passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at River Grove Health in Loudon, Tennessee. Ms. Pickler was a homemaker and enjoyed being home cooking, reading cookbooks, watching cooking shows, listening to gospel and county music, and watching TV. She was a Christian. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Amy Sisco of Rockwood, TN; fiancé, Ronald Bowman of Rockwood, TN; grandchildren, Ashley Sisco and Abigail Sisco; great grandchildren, Nathan Seals and Brayleigh Seals; sister, Juanita Beaty of Jamestown, TN; brother and sister-in-law, James and Barbara Sisco of the Muddy Pond Community; and a host of cousins and other family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Austin Sisco and Ray Sisco; and infant brother, Jr. Sisco; and infant daughter, Tillie May Sisco.
