Vickie Lynn Campbell – Allen

Vickie Lynn Campbell – Allen, entered the presence of her Lord on the morning of April 16th, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Georgis (Ollis) Campbell, and by her former husband, Jerry Allen.
She is survived by her son Nathan Allen; daughter -in-law Karey Kilgore Allen; and her three grandsons, William (Liam) Calvin Allen, Carmichael Moses Nathaniel Allen, and Isaac Ollis Allen – all of whom she loved more than life itself.
Vickie was born, raised, and lived most of her life in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. She later lived in Farmington, Missouri, before moving to Mobile, Alabama to be near her family. She graduated from Oliver Springs High School with the class of 1967 and attended Roane State.
She worked at Oliver Springs Elementary School, Oak Ridge High School’s Science Department, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She was also co-owner of Simply Southern Florist in Oliver Springs with Denise Wells.
A faithful member of Kellytown Baptist Church, Vickie devoted her life to serving God and others. She raised her son in the church, taught Sunday School, served in Vacation Bible School, helped establish the church’s WMU (Women’s Missionary Union), and joyfully mentored the Acteen girls on Wednesday nights – planning mission trips and even traveling with them to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to teach Bible School. She loved working for the Lord and had a heart especially for children and missions.
Vickie loved Jesus, and it was her desire that others would come to know Him as she did.
She believed the words of John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.
She would want you to know that salvation is a gift freely given by the grace through faith (Ephesians’ 2:8-9), and that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9)
The family will receive friends Thursday April 24, 2025, at Kellytown Baptist Church in Oliver Springs, TN from 6:00-7:00 p.m. with funeral to follow at 7:00 pm officiated by Pastor Robert Melton.
A graveside service will be held Friday April 25, 2025, at 11:00 am at New Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Oliver Springs, TN.
