Vicky Lynn LaRue, age 71, passed away peacefully at the home of one of her daughters on September 19, 2026.

Vicky LaRue was a retired employee of the former Morgan County Regional Corrections Facility, now known as the Morgan County Correctional Complex (MCCX).

She was the mother of three children: DeAnn York of Portland, TX, and her husband, Chad; Franscine Presley of Baxter, TN; and Nathan LaRue of Sunbright, TN, and his wife, Stephanie.

Vicky had 10 amazing grandchildren, in which she was so proud: the children of DeAnn York and husband Chad York: Danielle Voiles, CJ (Chad Junior) York, Jeanne York, and Jack (Jackson) York; the children of Franscine Presley: Victoria Presley, Zachery Presley, and Elijah Presley; the children of Nathan LaRue and wife Stephanie LaRue: Ava LaRue, Belle LaRue and Beau LaRue.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanne Hamby of Sunbright and Robert (Bob) Stadden of Port Charlotte, FL; as well as her grandmother, Jessie House of Sunbright, TN.

Vicky had a private graveside service at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Burrville.
