VOLS FOOTBALL PLAYER REINSTATED TO TEAM AFTER ANIMAL CRUELTY CHARGE DISMISSED

The University of Tennessee says  junior football linebacker Aaron Beasley has been reinstated to the team after a judge dismissed an animal cruelty charge against him. Beasley can now participate in all team activities.

He was suspended indefinitely after he was cited for the offense back in April.

The report stated Beasley allegedly abused his girlfriend’s roommate’s cat after it was found eating their food. Officials at an emergency animal care facility stated the cat suffered a small concussion and kidney failure.
