Wanda Danniels, age 85 of Spring City passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga surrounded by her family. She was born March 11, 1941 in Cumberland County to the late David and Sarah Ann Smith Dinkens. Wanda worked for 20 plus years for the Rhea Co. Dept. of Education as a substitute teacher. She loved being outdoors; watching her birds and especially tending to her garden and her flowers. She loved to cook for her family and spending time with them and her friends. Wanda loved going to church and attending Emory Gap Baptist Church.

Wanda was preceded in death her husband, Willis Danniels, her son, Kenneth Danniels and her grandsons Christopher and Travis Danniels. Her sisters Winoah Riggs and Beatrice Riggs. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Clifford Dinkens and Jerome F. Dinkens.

Survivors include her sons; Jerry (Annetta) Danniels of Dayton, Frankie (Shirley) Danniels also of Dayton, Raymond (Maria) Danniels of Spring City and Earnest (Cindy) Danniels of Spring City. Her daughter-in-law, Kimberly Danniels of Evensville. Wanda is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Wanda will be Friday, May 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Laymance officiating. The family will receive friendsFriday, May 15, 2026 from 1PM until 3PM at Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grandview.
