Mrs. Wanda Marcella Griffis, age 90, of Harriman passed away on December 20, 2024, at her home. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Kingston. She enjoyed traveling and raising kids, having been a foster parent to 144 children and adopting 10.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Gene Griffis.

Daughter: Ann Allen.

Parents: Charles & Flossie Young.

Two brothers: W.C. Young and Jr. Young.

Sister: Joyce Griffis.

She is survived by four sons: Lenord, Mark, Jordan, and Joey Griffis.

Two daughters: Debbie Morris and Bethany Griffis.

Two brothers: Clyde Young and Robert Young.

Two sisters: Maretta Owens and Brenda Devany.

And many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Monday December 30, 2024, at Liberty Baptist Church in Kingston from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Randy Griffis officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Swan Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.
