WARRANT TAKEN OUT ON SHUEY FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

TBI RELEASES STATEMENT ON OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING IN BRADLEY COUNTY

Crossville police recently went to a home on Windermere Drive for a disturbance. A female at the scene stated 48-year-old Richard Eric Shuey had a firearm and allegedly threatened to shoot her and her dog. Shuey reported took the canine into a wooded area with the shotgun. Officers attempted to track him on several trails but with no success. The female’s hand was bleeding from what appeared to be a dog bite from one belonging to Shuey. When she attempted to call 911, the assailant supposedly knocked the phone out of her hand. That is when Shuey headed towards the woods with her canine and the firearm. The report does not indicate what happened to the dog. A warrant was signed on Shuey for aggravated assault.
