WATER BOIL ADVISORY ISSUED FOR PARTS OF PICKETT COUNTY
A water boil advisory is in place for residents in Byrdstown, Clark Mountain and Moodyville areas of Pickett County after a main water line ruptured on West Main Street. Officials say around 800,000 gallons of water spilled out before workers made repairs. The water boil advisory will remain in effect until at least this evening if not first thing in the morning. The busted water line resulted in schools cancelled today in Pickett County.
