WAYNE COUNTY, KENTUCKY MAN ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY

A Wayne County, Kentucky man was arrested last night on multiple charges including second-degree burglary.

Deputies responded to a call last night on Kentucky Highway 776 where an intoxicated man had allegedly unlawfully entered a residence.

Upon their arrival, officers learned that the homeowner heard a loud bang on her front porch and when she opens the door, she observed 29-year-old Austin L. Tucker of Monticello, Kentucky lying on the porch. Tucker then got up and reportedly entered the residence uninvited. Deputies noticed Tucker on the floor of the residence, vomiting and being under the influence of alcohol. Tucker allegedly assaulted another person inside the residence and had taken an ax making several threats toward them. Tucker had to be physically removed by deputies from the residence. Once at the Detention Center, Tucker had to be physically removed from the patrol car and was restrained by Detention Center personnel.

Tucker was charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault, resisting arrest, third-degree terroristic threats, menacing and for alcohol intoxication in a public place.
