William Brian Swearengen
July 21, 1964 – October 11, 2026

Brian Swearengen, age 62, of Crossville, TN, passed away on October 11, 2026.

Brian is survived by his wife, Denise Potter Swearengen; his mother, Billie Martin Swearengen; his brother, Matt Jr. (Savannah) Swearengen; and his half-sister, Cindi Halcomb. He is also survived by his children, Hayley Reed (Donnie Bruce), Bryson and Sidney Reed, and by his beloved pets, “the girls.” He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Kenny and Rita Martin; Claude and Talana Martin; Charlie and Myra Martin; Virginia Wilson; Lily and Doug Trivett; Linda Simmons; Tom and Christine Swearengen; and Alice Glover. He leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matt Swearengen, Sr., and by aunts and uncles, Harvey Martin; Mary Spencer; Lowell Simmons; Kitty and Albert Clagett; Ruthie Swearengen; Stella Maynard; Pat and Toddy Swearengen; Leonard Swearengen; Stem and Mary Swearengen; and Jerry Eastwood.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00 PM at Crab Orchard Christian Church. All who knew and loved Brian are welcome to attend.
