WILLIAM C. BAISLEY age 90 of Dayton, TN formerly of Crossville, TN passed away August 28, 2022. He was born April 13, 1932, in Crossville, TN the son of Carson and Weltha Wyatt Baisley. He was retired after more than 38 years from Peterson Farms as Vice President of Sales. He also served our country in the United States Army. He and his wife Maxine were members of First Baptist Church of Dayton, where he served as Deacon. Bill was very active in many organizations, with membership in over 100 during his lifetime. He was very involved in many service agricultural organizations and was inducted into the University of Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame in 2017, an accomplishment he was very proud of.

He is survived by his wife- Maxine Baisley of Dayton, TN, son- Timothy Baisley of Dayton, TN, daughter- Vivian Baisley of Cleveland, TN and brother- Bobby Baisley of Crossville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday September 1, 2022, at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday September 1, 2022, from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pugh Cemetery, Crossville, TN.
