Willie Fayette “Bill” Craft, 74

Norris & New – Mr. Willie Fayette “Bill” Craft of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at his residence, having attained the age of 74 years, 8 months & 11 days. He was born on Tuesday, August 29, 1950 in Burkesville, Kentucky, the son of Goethal & Lucy Dorothy (Hopper) Craft. He was a Christian and a member Rose of Sharon Church, a logger and a business owner, having owned Craft Auto Sales, also a gifted musician and enjoyed playing Bluegrass with his family, and according to him…he was the “Prettiest Craft” . He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth Craft, his sister, Pamela Craft and his brother-in-law, Phillip Parrish.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Judy (Wray) Craft, whom he wed on  Tuesday, July 3,1973, of Burkesville, Kentucky, children, Julie Faye (Craft) Dubre (&William Dubre), Billie Christina “Tina” (Craft) Capshaw (& Bro. Finis Capshaw), Wendy Michelle (Craft) Bean (& Stephen Bean), Stacy Diane (Craft) Staley (& Jerry Don Staley) all of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Mrs. Janice (Craft) Parrish, Mr. Preston (& Carolyn) Craft, of Burkesville, Kentucky, Mrs. Jackie (Craft) Bryant (& Jerry Bryant) of Marrowbone, Kentucky, grandchildren, Lane Dubre & Ashlynn, Lilee Dubre, Chaise Dial & Courtney Lee, Blake (Dial) Bentley & Tyler Bentley, Triston Capshaw & Annie Thompson, Garrison Bean & Kenady May, Konner Bean, Collin Bean, Cannon Staley, Raelyn Staley & Jakob Taylor and Mason Staley, Great-Grandchildren, Kayzlynn Grace Dubre, Rynlee Kaite Dial, and arriving soon, William Langston Dubre.

The funeral service was conducted on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 12:00 noon in the Memory Chapel of the Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Finis Capshaw officiating and memories shared by family members. Burial was in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Chase Dial, Lane Dubre, Garrison Bean, Cannon Staley, Triston Capshaw, Konner Bean, Mason Staley, Collin Bean, Blake Bentley, Raelyn Staley, Lilee Dubre. Honorary Casket Bearers were, Ricky Craft, Melvin Groce, Rondall Wray, Joe Wray, Robert Wray, Charles Wray, Mark Capps, Dr. Robert Flowers Sr., and Dr. Robert Flowers Jr.

Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
