WILMA JOYCE RICHARDS age 78 of Crossville, TN passed away May 18, 2026. She was born January 30, 1948 in Crossville, TN the daughter of Frank and Louise Brown Roysdon. She retired after more than 30 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Cumberland Medical Center. She was a kind and caring person who spent her life taking care of those in need. She was also a Christian lady who put her faith in the Lord. Her family was most precious to her and all the time she spent with them.

She is survived by her husband Duain Richards of Crossville, TN, children- Lesa Sherrill of Lebanon, TN, Mike Sherrill and his wife Kathy of Crossville, TN, Chad Sherrill of Crossville, TN and Jason Richards and his wife Tish also of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Talishia Holly, Taylor Rockafellow, Derrick Sherrill, Lindsey Payne and Cassidy Barnwell and great grandchildren- Dallas Holly, Denver Holly, Luke Payne, Ellie Payne, Daisy Payne and Addalyn Barnwell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother- Wes Roysdon.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday May 29, 2026 at 2pm at Hood Funeral home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12noon-2pm two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
