Yvette Gwen Roberts-Brown passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at her home in Oliver Springs, TN.

Yvette was a true nature lover who adored spring time, and enjoyed working in her gardens. She was an avid animal lover and anything nature. Yvette also thoroughly enjoyed sporting events like football and basketball. Yvette was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and attended Pellissippi State College.

Yvette is preceded in death by her father Glen Roberts, stepfather Dan Shelton, maternal grandparents Bruce and Ethel McGaha and paternal grandparents Blake and Edith Roberts.

Yvette leaves behind her loving husband Roger Brown, mother Carolyn Shelton of Oak Ridge, TN, brother Gary Wayne Rowell (Jennifer) of Nashville, TN, stepbrother Jason Shelton of Oak Ridge, sisters Donna Baker (Mark) of Claxton, TN, Serita Stamps (Tyler) of Cookville, TN and stepsister Jennifer Stevens (Donnie) of Oliver Springs, TN. Brother-n-laws Vernin Brown (Sherry) of Kingston, TN and Darrell E. Brown of Oak Ridge, TN. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Updates will be posted when available.
