What an afternoon and evening of weather we had especially in Cumberland County with a storm that moved out of Bledsoe County and produced wind damage from near the community complex North to the Rinnie area. Several trees were blown down in these areas and three homes were damaged on   Lawson Road. Rotation above the ground was indicated and a tornado warning was in effect. Over four inches of rain fell in portions of Northern and Western Cumberland County as well as much of the Cumberland Plateau area from White County through Putnam, Overton, Fentress and Pickett County. More rain is in the forecast through Thursday but then Skies begin to clear on Friday and the rain chance goes down to 30%. The weekend is looking partly sunny and in the 70s, great weather to be outside
