Lamonte Turner made a 3-point shot at the buzzer to give 17^th ranked Tennessee a 72-69 win over 20^th ranked VCU in the Emerald Coast Classic third-place game yesterday. Turner’s shot came after a dramatic comeback by VCU, who trailed by as many as 13 points in the second half. John Fulkerson led Tennessee with 17 points and seven rebounds. Tennessee returns to action Wednesday at home against Florida A&M.
