19 STUDENTS INJURED IN SCHOOL BUS ACCIDENT IN BRADLEY COUNTY

UPDATE – Injury count is now up to 24

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says several children from Whitfield County, Georgia on a field trip were taken to a hospital after an accident involving two school buses in Bradley County around 9:30 a.m. today. The accident too place on APD 40 in front of a Speedway gas station when one bus rear-ended the other. Four adults and 19 students were transported to the hospital. Officials say all students are now safe and accounted for. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a total of 33 people were on the bus at the time of the accident.
