Cumberland County deputies responded to a home on Coppett Road yesterday to a disturbance. The arrest report says 29-year-old Joshua Wayne Bohannon of Crossvlle struck a woman in the head and face with his fists then hit the victim in the head with a stick and struck her legs with a whip. A glass vial with a crystal like substance was reportedly found in Bohannon’s pocket. He was arrested for aggravated assault and manufacture, sale, delivery or possession of meth. However he picked up another charged when he was being processed in the jail of introduction of a controlled substance into a penal institution.
