2 SOUTHWEST AIRLINES PLANES COLLIDE AT NASHVILLE AIRPORT

A full investigation has been launched after two Southwest Airlines jets collided at Nashville International Airport Saturday night. Officials state that there were no injuries reported in the incident as the winglet of a St. Louis-bound Flight 1555 struck the winglet during pushback, of Flight 4580 that had been headed for Atlanta. The accident occurred in rainy weather and both airplanes were able to return to the gate under their own power. Both were removed from service to be evaluated. Both Southwest flights were able to be fulfilled with other planes continuing on to the destinations.
