21,250 DEWALT PROPANE HEATERS RECALLED; OVERHEAT HAZARD
Product: DEWALT 70,000 BTU Outdoor Portable Cordless Forced Air Propane Heaters (Model: DXH70CFAVX), identifiable by their yellow and black design with “DEWALT” printed on the side and the model number on the hang tag.
Hazard: The heaters’ operating instructions may lead users to press the start button too quickly, preventing the fan from activating. This can cause the heater to overheat, posing fire and burn risks.
Remedy: Repair – Consumers should stop using the heaters immediately and contact Enerco for updated instructions and a warning sticker on proper startup procedures. These materials are also available online.
