3.3 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE RECORDED IN FRANKLIN COUNTY
The United States Geological Survey says a 3.3 magnitude earthquake was reported early this morning in Franklin County. The earthquake was recorded at 3:33 a.m. central time, about 4.3 miles southeast of Sewanee. This is roughly 90 miles south-southwest of Cumberland County. The earthquake had a depth of about 6.7 miles. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
