Life Care Center of Athens in McMinn County has confirmed 54 residents tested positive for COVID-19 at the facility. The company says 37 residents tested negative for the virus and did not release a number of staff members infected. Life Care Center of Athens announced yesterday they are pausing admissions after testing all residents and staff. This is the only Life Care Center in the coverage area as of this morning (April 28, 2020) reporting positive COVID-19 numbers.
