740,000 SAUTÉ PANS RECALLED OVER EJECTING METAL CAP HAZARD

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of approximately 740,000 Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue Sauté Pans due to a serious safety hazard. The metal cap on the screw that connects the handle to the sauté pan can become detached and forcefully eject when the pan is heated, posing risks of impact injuries and burns to consumers.

The recall involves 2-piece sets of stainless steel sauté pans (10-inch and 11.5-inch sizes) with UPC number 0-80313-08131-6. The pans were sold at Costco stores and online at Costco.com, Walmart.com, and Amazon.com from August 2021 through February 2026 for about $40 per set. They were imported by E Mishan & Sons, Inc. of New York, New York, and manufactured in China.

E Mishan has received reports of at least 98 incidents in which the metal cap detached and ejected, including one case involving bruising and burn injuries.

Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the recalled pans and contact E Mishan for a full refund. The company will require the return of the pans. For more information or to process a refund, contact E Mishan toll-free at 888-230-6698 (available anytime) or visit www.granitestone.com/recalls or www.granitestone.com and click on “RECALL INFORMATION” at the top of the page.
