8-YEAR-OLD DIES FROM ACCIDENTAL GUNSHOT

The Metro Nashville Police are investigating the accidental shooting death of an 8-year-old boy at his grandmother’s house in Nashville on North 2nd Street on Saturday.
The investigation says three children were left alone, when the oldest, a teenager, heard a gunshot and found Phillip’e Woodard shot.
The child was playing with a loaded gun he had found in the home. The other two children, ages 16 and 10, were unharmed.
Woodard was pronounced dead at Monroe Carell Jr.’s Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
