CUMBERLAND COUNTY I-40 Resurfacing from near the parking area (MM 306.34) to east of Exit 311 (MM 311.12): Construction signs have been installed. The contractor has finished paving. Remaining work includes rumble strips, shoulder stone, fog sealing shoulders, delineators, and permanent pavement marking which will require night time lane closures. State trooper assistance will be requested. Working hours will be from 7 PM to 6 AM. During working hours, the speed limit will be reduced from 70 mph to 60 mph using digital speed limit sign assemblies. Estimated project completion date is August 2019.
