BREAKING NEWS – An inmate from West Tennessee State Penitentiary escaped this afternoon. Curtis Ray Watson escaped the prison, and is also a person-of-interest in the homicide of Tennessee Department of Correction employee. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was called in and agents are on the way to Henning, about 60 miles north of Memphis.  A TBI tweet said that Watson “should be considered extremely dangerous.” West Tennessee State Penitentiary houses maximum, medium and minimum adult male offenders.
