John Edward Griffin, age 65, of Kingston passed away August 19, 2019.  He was a 2008 inductee into the Smoky Mountain Raceway Hall Of Fame. He is survived by his sisters: Shirlene Freels from Sunbright and Diana Cash from Kingston; and one aunt, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright from 2 to 4 p.m. with the funeral to follow.  Interment will be in the Sunbright Cemetery in Sunbright.
