The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest following a hostage situation yesterday afternoon at a home on the 100 block of Bison Court. Deputies learned 44-year-old Ricky Anthony Moore was inside the residence holding a woman captive with a hammer. A gas agent was deployed to clear the home and deputies entered the residence with gas masks. Officers found Moore holding up the female against the wall. They took Moore into custody and freed the woman. Moore was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, domestic assault and resisting arrest.
