TENNESSEE MAN TURNS GIANT PUMPKIN INTO KAYAK

It’s one way of being unique for Halloween.
Justin Ownby from Bradley County grew a 910-pound pumpkin this year. He reportedly used a seed that had grown a 1,700-pound record-breaking pumpkin.
Once the giant pumpkin grew, he got a wild idea. Ownby hollow the pumpkin out and see if he could use it as a kayak. It worked but for a brief time. The pumpkin sank and went down to the bottom of the pond.
“It was fun while it lasted. Now it will be a great snack for the catfish in the pond,” said Ownby.
