Federal, state and county emergency responders will team up with TVA for an emergency preparedness exercise involving Watts Bar nuclear plant Wednesday, November 6, 2019. The exercise is part of a series of training drills and exercises required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to ensure an effective response to protect the health and safety of the public in the unlikely event of an emergency at Watts Bar.
