BREAKING NEWS – VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 127 SOUTH INJURES AT LEAST TWO

At this minute, Cumberland County firefighters and medics are on the scene of a vehicle accident on Highway 127 South near Vandever Road. One person had to be extricated from the wreckage. A 79-year-old passenger was also injured. An air medical helicopter is in route and will land on the highway to transport that individual. The estimated time of landing is 2:15 p.m. central and the helicopter will be on the highway for a few minutes as the patient is prepped for transport. Motorists can expect delays in travel in this area for the next 30-45 minutes. This is a breaking news story and more information will be released at a later time.
