Memorial services for Herbert Laine Derrick, age 54, of Smithville, will be held at 4 p.m. November 16, 2019 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. the day of the service at the funeral home. Herbert Laine Derrick was born June 17, 1965 to Herbert Lee and Menunell Tollett Derrick in Elyria, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his children: Charles, Savannah, Stephen, and Christopher Derrick; grandchildren: Neveah Derrick and Weston Melton; and siblings: Donna Kirkland, Sarah Derrick, Charles Derrick (Jennifer) and Billy Derrick (Rhonda).
