Sherry Lynn Matheson, age 54, of Rockwood, passed away February 29, 2020. She is survived by her daughter: Heather Matheson (McKinley Melson) of Rockwood; father: Wayne Burnette of Rockwood ; sisters: Tammy Leffew (Glenn) of Harriman and Jewell Collins of Rockwood; nieces: Beth Leffew and Megan Hill (Seth); special friends: Jennifer Bullard and Cindy Hall; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 4 until 7 p.m. at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow. Graveside and interment service will be Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Swan Pond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
