WILLIAMSON COUNTY SCHOOLS CLOSE AFTER PARENT SAID THEY TESTED POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS

Williamson County schools are closed today after a parent in the Brentwood area said they tested positive for coronavirus and had visited a school before the diagnosis. The Tennessee Department of Health will investigate if there was contact between the patient and any faculty, staff and/or students.
The Tennessee Department of Health said late yesterday four cases have been confirmed in the state. The cases are in Williamson County, Shelby County, Davidson County and one in middle Tennessee.
Vanderbilt University has also canceled classes for the week and suspending in-person classes for the rest of the month.
