A man is in custody following a deadly shooting in Rhea County. Officers responded to Lower Cove Loop Road Tuesday and found Michael Oldham deceased. Later that night, 21-year-old Jonathon Defore was charged with criminal homicide in the case. Defore was booked into jail without bond. The sheriff’s department has not shared any more information as it is an ongoing investigation.
