Charles Edward Tidwell, Jr., age 74, of Harriman, passed away July 16, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Barbara Tidwell; sons: Ronnie (Cheryl) Tidwell of Arizona, Charles “Chuck” (Sharlene) Tidwell Jr. of Oregon, and Tony Tidwell of Harriman; step-sons: William (Diana) Smith & Gregory Smith  of Florida; brother: William “Bill” Newport of Rockwood; sisters: Betty (Kenneth) Miers of Texas, Geneva (Richard) Miller of Kingston, and Ida (Eddie) Treadway of Rockwood; and grandchildren: Isaiah & Kelsey Tidwell. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with the funeral service to follow. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
