Lester David Love II, age 78, of Spring City, originally from Harriman, passed away July 26, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He was born February 13, 1942 in Harriman. He was a member of White’s Creek Baptist Church. He was also a 7th degree Black Belt in Isshin-Ryu Karate and a former karate instructor. He is preceded in death by his parents: Lester David Love Sr & Louise Harmon Love; grandson: Josh Love; and niece; Robin McDermitt. He is survived by his companion of 35 years: Cora Noe; children: Patricia Gann of Knoxville, Doyle Noe (Gina) of Knoxville, David Love III of Cleveland, Tennessee, and Derek Love (Cathy) of St. Angelo, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister: Nancy Love Scaff of Kingston. The family held a private graveside at the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood. The family asks that memorial contributions be made in his honor to your local animal shelters.
