Steve A. Groeneweg, age 67, of Fairfield Glade, passed away August 25, 2020. He was born April 9, 1953 in Grand Rapids, Michigan the son of Lloyd and Shirley Rushton Groeneweg. He is survived by his wife: Sherry Groeneweg of Fairfield Glade; children: Brent Groeneweg (Young) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sheila Reavis (Adam) of Caledonia, Michigan, Renee Groeneweg of Detroit, Michigan, Arend Groeneweg (Abby) of Brentwood, Tennessee and Mark Groeneweg (Courtney) of Wyoming, Michigan; siblings: Glen Groeneweg (Jackie) of Lowell, Michigan; Debra Fisk (Mike) of Lowell, Michigan, and Gary Groeneweg (Jennifer) of Allendale, Michigan; and grandchildren: Hannah, Daniel, Addie, Sully, Aubrey, Luke and Ryan. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday August 30, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
