WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) icon Joseph Laurinaitis, better known to pro wrestling fans as Road Warrior Animal, died last night of natural causes. He was 60 years old.

Laurinaitis is considered one of the best in-ring performers of all-time. He wrestled for most of his WWE career with Road Warrior Hawk and won multiple tag team championships as The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom. Hawk, real name Michael Hegstrand, died of a heart attack in 2003 at age 46.

Laurinaitis was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
