ARRESTS MADE IN PUTNAM COUNTY IN OPERATION “TIS THE SEASON”

Putnam County Sheriff Eddie Farris announced today following months of leads, surveillance, and investigation, his office launched a countywide inter-agency operation called ‘Tis the Season’. It was the outcome of 26 grand jury indictments that resulted in the arrest of fourteen individuals with multiple charges being filed. Additionally, eight of these individuals were already in custody when served with the indictments.

Deputies from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the 13th Judicial Drug Task Force, along with other assisting agencies including the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Department of Corrections conducted a lawful search and seizure operation after receiving several leads regarding information on possible drug activity.

Fourteen individuals were arrested, and several types of drugs, including meth, heroine, and the deadly drug fentanyl, which is causing so many drug overdose deaths throughout the county, were discovered. During the arrest today these drugs were discovered and seized as well as cash, drug paraphernalia and other items commonly used in the illegal sale of narcotics.

The following subjects were arrested and charged:

  • Jessica Rose Marie Haston (age 28) – charged with two counts of manufacture, sale, delivery, and possession with intent to sell methamphetamine. Bond is $75,000. Haston has 5 prior arrests.
  • Marissa Sheene Frady (age 31) – charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, and possession with intent to sell less than ½ gram in a drug free zone. Bail Bond is $100,000.
  • Fred Tyler Moore (age 28) – charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, and possession with intent to sell methamphetamine. Bond is $75,000. Moore has 9 prior arrests.
  • Mary Beth Bohannon (age 32) – charged with four counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession fentanyl/fentanyl derivative, schedule 1 drugs – manufacture, delivery, sale, possession (2 counts), manufacture, sale, delivery, possession with intent to sell methamphetamine less than ½ gram. Bail Bond is $100,000. Bohannon has 38 prior arrests.
  • Justin Kiel Post (age 37) – charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sell. Bond is $70,000. Post has 13 prior arrests.
  • Justin Michael Payne (age 31) – charged with two counts of manufacture, sale, delivery, possession with intent to sell methamphetamine in a drug free zone. Bond is $85,000. Payne has 7 prior arrests.

The following subjects were already in jail on similar charges when served with the pick-up indictments:

  • Joshua Ledbetter (age 29) – charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sell. Bond is $75,000. Ledbetter has 11 prior arrests.
  • Jared Conner (age 31) – charged with three counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sell. Bond is $75,000. Conner has 15 prior arrests.
  • Jordan Kennedy (age 30) – charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sell less than ½ gram. Bond is $80,000. Kennedy has 6 prior arrests.
  • Gregory Livers (age 35) – charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sale, two counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sell less than ½ gram. Bond is $100,000. Livers has 24 prior arrests.
  • Brian Matthew Horn (age 40) – charged with four counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sell. Bond is $100,000. Horn has 33 prior arrests.
  • Marshall Irvin Douglas (age 50) – charged with 4 counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sell. Bond is $75,000. Douglas has 17 prior arrests.
  • Monica Lazara Craig (age 38) – charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sell. Bond is $75,000. Craig has 13 prior arrests.
  • Elizabeth Ann Lett (age 29) – charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, sale, possession with intent to sell. Bond is $75,000. Lett has 10 prior arrests.

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force. Sheriff Farris expressed his appreciation to citizens of the community for providing information to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.
