Livingston police and medics responded to a shooting at a home on Fairview Lane yesterday. Initial reports indicate an argument led to Chris Melton being wounded by a bullet fired allegedly by the homeowner, Robert Richardson. Melton was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville for treatment. A motive for the act was not released as the incident is under investigation.
