The Athens Fire Department responded to a blaze at the housing authority office late last night on Clark Street. They arrived to see the structure completely engulfed in flames. The McMinn County, Englewood and Riceville fire departments responded to assist. No injuries were reported. The building was a total loss and a cause is under investigation. No further information was initially released.
