A 13-year-old male who was behind the wheel of a car when it crashed into another vehicle killing a man has been charged with vehicular homicide. The boy was charged in juvenile court after being released from Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. He was also charged with driving without a license and no proof of insurance. His name wasn’t released. The crash happened at O’Reilly Auto Parts on Nolensville Pike in Nashville as the teen was fleeing from a hit-and-run on Danby Drive and Blackman Road. He then ran into another car killing the driver, 71-year-old David Cheatham.
