PUTNAM DEPUTIES LOCATE SUSPECT IN MONDAY SHOOTING

UPDATE: Thanks to the public’s assistance and the diligent efforts of PCSO Warrants Division, the suspect has been located.
On Monday, August 1st, 2022, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office received a call at approximately 10:30 A.M. that “a man had been shot.” PCSO deputies responded to 1717 Dyer Long Road, located in the Western part of Putnam County, which is the residence of Amanda Borden. When deputies arrived, they found a white male, identified as Brent Bogle, who had been shot multiple times. Amanda Borden was not found present at the residence when deputies arrived.
Bogle was transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center to be treated for the wounds and was later transported to Vanderbilt Hospital. After arriving in Nashville, Bogle died from his sustained gunshot wounds.
Sheriff Eddie Farris stated, “Amanda Borden is wanted for questioning regarding this incident. Borden also has multiple outstanding warrants for Putnam County Juvenile and General Sessions Court. If anyone has any information of her whereabouts, please call the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office at 931-528-8484.”
