BRENDA KAY SELBY age 73 of Crossville, TN -passed away August 13, 2022. She was born April 17, 1949, in Clinton, TN, the daughter of Robert and Gracie Cook Bottoms. She was retired after 40 years as a medical records clerk at Cumberland Medical. Before starting her career at the hospital, she spent time as a cosmetologist and working as a floral designer. She had a tremendous gift of design and decorating, especially for graduations, proms and other occasions within the Cumberland County school system. That was a role she took on and loved for more than 25 years. A favorite pastime she truly enjoyed through her life was showing Tennessee Walking Horses. She was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother who treasured her family.  She was also a faithful and devoted Christian lady who loved the Lord. She and her husband Paul were members of Cornerstone Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her husband- Paul Selby of Crossville, TN, sons- Stewart Selby of Crossville, TN and Tyler Corey Selby and his wife Kendra of Plainwell, MI, brother- Bob Bottoms and his wife Linda of Crossville, TN, granddaughter- Victoria Selby, great grandchildren- Bexley, Blaze, Octavia, Amari and Chris and nephews and niece- Bear Bottoms, Bradley Bottoms, wife Tracey and their daughter Chelsea and Robbie Casteel, husband Heath and their daughter Chloe. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son- Earl Brent Selby. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 17, 2022, at 10am at Cornerstone Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 16, 2022, from 6pm-8pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
